Prevent rainwater flooding with smart water management
Our climate is changing. According to the KNMI, we must get used to wetter winters and heavier showers in the spring and autumn. We're seeing this already: it rains harder and more often, and all that rain has to go somewhere. But the Dutch sewage system is mostly outdated. What happens when a lot of rain falls in a short time? The system often cannot cope with such a large quantity of water. This has serious consequences: from flooded cellars and water on the roads to closed tunnels and highly polluted ponds.
