The Noistop Steel fence was the first in a series of modular noise fences.
The galvanized steel frame makes the fence maintenance-free, and the acoustic stone wool core is covered with decorative green polythene netting.
The frame can serve as a trellis for climbing plants, enabling you to create a pleasant, colourful garden environment.
The slimline modules are available in different sizes, making it easy to fit them in between trees and bushes already in your garden.
The modules can be installed between wooden or steel posts, depending on the surroundings or the look you would like to achieve.

The shown plants below can be recommended in connection with the installation of a Noistop noise fence. You should of course consider the soil conditions, water availability, light as well as orientation (North/East/South/West) and maintenance.
We recommend that you contact a local gardener, who has knowledge about the local conditions.
Vines and climbing plants are increasingly popular in many gardens, and are very suitable for growing up a noise fence.
The plants can grow high up the fence and thus ensure a green covering, even in small gardens with limited space.
This is why noise fencing can help to create a sense of space – in addition to a quieter garden.
Lapinus cannot be held responsible for withering plants.
The plants mentioned are only suggestions based on positive experiences from projects.
True climbing plants – such as trumpet flower, vine, climbing hortensia, ivy and Virginia creeper – attach themselves to the surface of the noise fence with small tendrils.
Espalier plants such as roses or clematis, on the other hand, require more care because they have to be attached to the fence in some way.
Whichever types of plant you prefer, Noistop fencing is ideal. You can even grow several different types of climbing plants in the same place.
This allows you to enjoy a more attractive garden as well as a longer flowering season.
The best choice of plants for your noise fence obviously depends on how much sun and water the plants will get, and how much shelter there is at each particular spot.
Consult your local garden centre about the best options available for your noise fence, or ask one of our local distributors for advice and assistance.
Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in part shade to full shade. Will also grow in full sun. Tolerates a wide range of soils, but prefers rich loams. Tolerates some drought, but produces best foliage color in evenly moist soils.
Climbing hydrangeas need a rich, moist soil that is well-drained. If your soil needs improvement, dig in a generous amount of compost before planting. The vine grows well in full sun or partial shade.
Best grown in well-drained sandy loams with regular moisture in full sun to part shade. Tolerates some drought. Tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions. Plants are less apt to spread invasively in poor, lean soils.
Grape vines not only produce sweet and versatile fruits, they add an element of drama to a garden or landscape. They are vigorous growers, and with the proper pruning, they will produce fruit with ease and can last longer than 30 years.
Clematis montana is the best known of the early summer-flowering species, and has neat, flat, circular flowers about 4cm across in May and June. It isn't demanding special soil, as long as it gets fairly good light.
Climbing Rose "New Dawn"
A deservingly popular rose. Grow in full sun with fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. For best flowering apply a balanced fertiliser and mulch in late winter or early spring and a balanced fertiliser again in early summer. Tolerant of poor soil, shade and a north aspect

Flexibility through different module sizes
The noise fence consists of different sized sections, which makes it easy for you to erect the fence yourself. The fence has a noise-absorbing core within a galvanized steel frame, which is a perfect trellis for climbing plants.
The following module sizes are available depending on the color/design:
Dimensions (LxHxW) per element
- 100 x 100/090/045 x 11 cm
- 200 x 100/090/060/045 x 11 cm
- 300 x 060/040 x 11 cm
With a depth of 11 cm, the modules can be mounted on e.g. 100 x 100 mm steel posts or larger. Installation is very straightforward: Just screw the modules onto the posts using the pre-drilled brackets.
